Comfort-R

Comfort R is the name of product line of the EPS (expanded polystyrene) foam, produced by H W Manufacturing Inc.  The Comfort R name was chosen because HW Manufacturing Inc. manufactures high quality EPS foam which is light, strong, waterproof, and has very high R values per volume compared to other insulation materials available.  These performance features allow the builder to construct dwellings at a lower cost, while delivering a building that is comfortable in both winter/heating and summer/cooling.

Typical applications of Comfort R are insulation for walls, roofing, and foundations in all types of structures.

H W’s versatile manufacturing technology can produce Comfort R to the customer’s exact specifications.  They use the most modern technology to create custom shapes, extrusions, and filler sections.  Each of their offered products can be cut to orders of any size and shape utilizing the client’s desired foam type.  The final product produced is delivered well packaged to ensure the product is ready for immediate use.

Characteristics

• Non-hygroscopic-does not absorb moisture from the atmosphere
• Does not rot, decay or provide nutrient value for insects, parasites or animal life
• EPS withstands temperature cycling without loss of basic characteristics or structural integrity insuring long term performance.
• Light weight makes handling and application very easy with minimum labour involvement
• Excellent buoyancy to weight ratio-for floatation applications
